These bets are only for just one dice roll. And if a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12 is thrown, then you have won. 5, 6, 7 and 8 will make you lose your bet. Field Bets have such payouts: 2 pays double (2:1) and 12 pays 3:1. Other winning dice rolls are paid even (1:1).
This is an additional bet made on a Pass, Don't Pass, Come or Don't Come bet that has already been placed. 'Odds' bets can only be made once the point has been established. The advantage of an Odds bet is that it is paid out at the correct odds.
Big 6, Big 8 Bets
When these bets are placed at any dice roll, they win if a 6 or 8 comes out before a 7. 6 and Big 8 are even bets and the payout for them are 1:1.
