Mobile Betting Over $48 Billion in China by 2015

According to the experts, a slight liberalization of mobile gambling policy throughout Europe and gaming legislation in the United States together with a mobile lottery and betting services launched by Chinese companies will increase the mobile betting to $48 billion in 2015.

A recent study has shown that, for example, the iPAT service by the Japan Racing Association, which allows to place bets over the Internet from PCs and mobile phones, led to the increase in the number of the mobile gaming transactions all over the world. The UK is in the thick of it. But the intension of the VODone to launch mobile lottery is expected to put China on the third place in the remote gambling market.

The US is looking forward to the introduction of the mobile lottery as well. It is believed that the new mobile service will allow to greatly increase the lottery sales that have recently gone down. Now several lottery companies are discussing the possibility of the mobile lottery service adoption during 2011. The new gambling legislation is believed to accelerate the launch.
