Sic Bo Guide

Sic Bo is a Chinese game played with three dice. The game is also known as Tai Sai (Lucky dice) and Dai Siu (Big Small).

The Objective

Before the three dice are rolled, the bettors place their wagers on the outcome of the rolls.

The Types of Bets

The bettor can place as many as eight different kinds of bets. The bet can be made that one number will appear on at least one of the dice. If this number comes up on one die, the bet pays 1:1, if on two dice, the bet is paid 2:1 and if three dice come out with this number, the bet is paid 3:1. You can also place a bet on two particular numbers to be rolled out. This bet pays 5:1. Another option is to bet on the Total of the three dice and the payout for this bet varies from 6:1 to 50:1 depending on the total bet. You can also bet "Small" or "Big". A bet on "small" is winning if the total of the three dice is between 4 and 10. The bet on "big" wins if the total is between 11 and 17. You can also bet on a Specific Triple to be rolled out and this bet pays 150:1 or you can bet on Any Triple and this bet pays 24:1. Finally, you can bet on any pair of numbers to come out and this bet is called Two-Dice Combination and has a payout of 8:1.

How to Play

After the bet has been placed you have to push the Roll button and see the dice eventually come to rest after the roll. To let you know if your bet has won, the table will automatically light up the areas corresponding to all the winning bets. The payout on the bets depends upon the odds of that particular bet. In general, the more difficult it is to win a particular bet, the higher the payout will be.
